Apex Legends Paladin Tank

I concepted and built the initial HiPoly base model for this tank and provided the overall guidance and art direction for outsourcing. It was loosely inspired by the Israeli Merkava and was meant to have a more “old-school” look within our game’s universe. We originally thought the textures should be fairly subdued so that the tank didn’t call too much attention to itself within King’s Canyon. However, after lots of playtesting we realized it blended in almost too well, which is why I ended up overhauling the textures with a brighter and higher contrast paintjob.

The final polycount was around 20k and the textures used were a 2k and 1k map.
